Daufuskie Island Historical Foundation
The Daufuskie Island Historical Foundation was founded in 2001 to preserve the historical and cultural heritage of Daufuskie Island. The Foundation has acquired and restored historic buildings, established an island history museum, created a self-guided trail of historic island sites, and begun an island history archive.
Daufuskie Island Conservancy
The Daufuskie Island Conservancy is a SC nonprofit corporation organized exclusively for education, scientific and charitable purposes related to the study, protection and management of the natural resources of Daufuskie Island and the surrounding ecosystem.
Beaufort County Channel Video on Demand
The County Channel broadcasts all Beaufort County Council and committee meetings, as well as select Boards and Commissions meetings. Also check out some of The County Channel’s award winning original content, including Coastline, County Lens, Night Skies and Coastal Kingdom!
Daufuskie Island Community Farm
Since 2010, Daufuskie Community Farm and Artisan Village has devoted its energy to advocating sustainable living on Daufuskie Island. Since the initial introduction, the community farm has attracted those desiring to have a hands-on way of producing food for their community and to make a difference through the animals, gardens, orchards, and the Artisan Village.
Daufuskie Island Ferry Company
The Daufuskie Island Ferry provides ferry transportation between the Hilton Head Island area (Buckingham Landing) and Daufuskie Island. This ferry currently has the county contract for transporting Daufuskie residents and property owners, as well transports day visitors and vacation guests to the island.
